Katie Hamrick, MA, LPC
I have a passion for helping those who are hurting and restoring hope to those who feel hopeless. I enjoy working with people age 6 and up, but especially teenagers and adults. I counsel with a person-centered approach while also incorporating a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy to help my clients make positive changes and meet their goals. I have experience working with survivors of domestic violence, trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, as well as a variety of other mental health concerns. I believe that anyone can thrive if they are given the right tools and a supportive and accepting environment to grow. I love my job because I am afforded the privilege to watch my clients heal and become a healthier version of themselves.
