The Ohio Administrative Code, Chapter 4757-5, Code of Ethics madates obtaining relevant court documents pertaining to custody, visitation, shared parenting, guardianship, or other legal considerations before proceeding with treatment of minors. For the detailed statue, refer to the Ohio Administrative Code Rule 4757-5-02

In compliance with this regulation, we require all legal documents regarding custody, visitation, shared parenting, and any other such matters, to be on file before any sessions can occur. This measure ensures that consent forms for minors are authorized by legal custodians and that sensitive information about the minor’s care is shared exclusively with those who have legal rights to receive it.

Please submit custody-related documents to custody@darbycreekcounseling.org.
